Click here for our online form. How long has it been since you've thought about American River College? If you are like most former students, it hasn't been long. After all, it was at ARC that you explored and set the course for your career. Since 1955, when the college opened its doors, it has touched lives of hundreds of thousands of students. Many have gone on to four-year institutions and graduated with distinction. Others are equally proud to have obtained an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree, or a Certificate of Achievement. Since 1955, ARC has grown from 500 students to more than 35,000; from 32 faculty to 400; from 8 certificate programs to 30; and from three occupational degree programs to 40. Today, it is among the 10 largest community colleges in the state and is looked upon as a leader in innovative programs and services. It transfers more students to UC Davis and CSU Sacramento than any other community college. ARC continues its leadership role among the Sacramento area's institutions of higher education. The ARC Alumni Partners are helping to continue that process by enhancing the vital link between college and community. By becoming a member of the Alumni Partners, you can help us continue making a difference in the lives of our students. ARC Alumni Partners were organized for the purpose of promoting and maintaining and active interest in our college programs, services and activities throughout the communities we serve. It is our mission to provide support to former, current and future students and recognize their achievements. Alumni donations support:
