Anthropology at ARC
What is Anthropology?
Anthropology is the study of humans: their cultures, their languages, their past and their origins.
There are four traditional fields of anthropology: Cultural or Social Anthropology, Physical or Biological Anthropology, Linguistics, and Archaeology.
Together these four fields provide a holistic view of what it means to be human. A fifth field of anthropology has emerged in recent years. Applied Anthropology uses anthropological theory and methodology to examine and help solve real-world problems.
