All of the Drywall/Lathing courses offered by the Drywall/Lathing Apprenticeship are certified by the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (NJATC) and approved by the California Department of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS).  As such, they contain all of the elements of specific training including syllabi, goals and objectives, texts, training materials, tests, and grading policies.  Drywall/Lathing Apprentices must pass the required tests and/or interviews given by the local JATC,  and enter the program and individual courses with the skills and knowledge needed to be successful.  Applicants who do not pass the tests and/or interviews are allowed to retest after they have improved their skills.
