All of the Sheetmetal courses offered by the Sheetmetal Apprenticeship are certified by the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (NJATC) and approved by the California Department of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS).  As such, they contain all of the elements of specific training including syllabi, goals and objectives, texts, training materials, tests, and grading policies.  Sheetmetal Apprentices must pass the required tests and/or interviews given by the local JATC.  Applicants who do not pass the tests and/or interviews are allowed to retest after they have improved their skills.
