Eva Bell has been working at American River College as a Student Personnel Assistant for over 18 years. She brings years of management experience from private industry with a BA in Human Resources. Eva began working in Student Employment assisting the Graduate placement Director. She dedicated years to the DSP&S program where she worked collaboratively with faculty, students, and staff in an effort to establish and promote the support services for our DSP&S student population. In 1998 the CalWORKs program was established within the Los Rios Community College District, Eva was the Job Developer for American River College. She worked closely with employers and within the community to open doors of opportunity for many students as they worked hard to establish a new life for themselves. Taking her years of experience at the College and as an employer, she is now working in the Career Center. Eva remains committed to dedicating her efforts to bringing employers to our student population. |

Joy has been with the Los Rios Community College District for two years. Prior, she served as Graduate Placement Coordinator with MTI College where she also taught career preparation, and assisted with the coordination of internships for the medical assisting program. Most recently, Joy comes to us from Folsom Lake College where she focused on student retention, assessment/orientation, and outreach/recruitment. She completed her general education at Cabrillo College in Aptos, and then received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from CSU, Chico. |

Jennifer has worked in the Career Center for the past twelve years. As a Student Personnel Assistant she works closely with students, staff, faculty, and administrators. Jennifer is responsible for presenting class orientations, workshops, and training and also meets with students individually to critique their resumes and assist with cover letters and other pertinent job search information. She assists in coordinating our annual campus Career Fair which is held on-campus each October. Jennifer also maintains advertising for Career Center events, activities, and workshops to staff and students at American River College. |

Janice Klar has been the career counselor at ARC since 2005. She has a Master's degree in Career Counseling and over 10 years experience as a career counselor, college instructor, workshop presenter and group facilitator. Janice is committed to assisting students in finding the right career, one that fulfills their passion and supports their earning potential. |

Connie Ayala is the Coordinator for the Cooperative Work Experience Education and Internship Program at American River College. With a Master’s in Career Counseling, she is a strong advocate for career exploration through experiential learning. Prior to her position at American River College, she was an Internship Coordinator at UC Davis placing students in valuable internship opportunities around the state. Connie is happy to partner with you in developing internship opportunities with your organization that would be mutually benefi cial to all participants. |
