Job Placement Services
A Student Personnel Assistant is available to help students find career
opportunities and to assist in job search. Available by
appointment.
Employment Preparation
Resume critiquing/cover letter assistance. Assistance in researching companies, industries, and job titles.
Internet
Job search resources are available via the Internet.
Computer-Based Programs
The Career Center has a number of computer programs that allow students to access the latest information about
occupations and job trends. Available to ARC students and the general public.

- Occ-U-Sort - An easy to use questionnaire inventory to help identify occupations of interest.
- Microskills - Discover how skills you enjoy transfer to various career fields.
- Schools - Information on approximately 1600 four-year colleges and universities located throughout the United States and Canada.
- KEIRSEY'S "Please Understand Me" - Analysis of personality temperament styles, along with a list of matching occupations.
- Perfect Interview - Creates a realistic "simulated interview" experience where the candidate is asked challenging questions and must respond, as in a real job interview.
Elevations - A tool that integrates the basic elements of career self-assessment, research, decision-making and action planning.
