ESL Classes at the ARC Natomas Center

In Fall 2005, the ESL department began offering classes at the ARC Natomas Center (map). In Spring 2009, we will be offering two sections each of ESL L 20, R 20, and W 20, and ESL L 30, R 30 and W 30. We will also be offering one section each of ESL L 40, R 40, W 40 and one section each of ESL L 50, R 50, and W 50. In addition, sections in the ESL Center will be offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday. One section of ESL 350 taught completely online will be offered. To find out more about the Natomas Center, go to the Natomas Center website.

Hybrid Classes

Since Fall 2002, the ESL department has been offering “hybrid” classes. These classes meet one day a week on campus and the rest of the class work is done online at the class website. Hybrid classes can use the many resources on the Internet to add current and interesting information to the courses. You will learn helpful ways to continue your English studies online even after your class is finished.
