The Independent Living Program (ILP) prepares foster youth, 16-21 years of age, for their move into independent adult living.

Students learn skills ranging from job procurement and financial management, to value clarification and substance abuse. With divorce rates rising and increasing problems of gang violence and drugs, more youth are placed at risk than ever before. Facing these challenges without stable, cohesive home lives is particularly difficult for youth in foster care placement. ILP provides a safe haven for learning, sharing and socializing.
