Research Assistance
Request a Research Appointment
Current students are welcome to fill in
the form below to meet one-on-one with a librarian. The goal of the
research appointment service is to provide research assistance and
instruction, not do the research for you.
- Learn to create a
research strategy - refine a topic and clarify how to proceed.
- Learn to identify
and locate appropriate books, articles, and websites, including how to
use the databases and find quality materials.
Research appointments are only available:
- Monday -
Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 2:00
p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and
3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 -
4:30 p.m.
Policy: Requests must be made at least TWO BUSINESS DAYS in
advance.
Regular research
assistance is always available at the reference desk
Monday through Saturday during library hours. If you have questions, call the Reference desk at 916-484-8458.
