Matthew Grasso
Classical guitarist, composer, arranger, musical instrument innovator and improviser, performs on an extended 7-string guitar and a 25-stringed
"Raga Guitar". He attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the Ali Akbar College of Music with Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. Matthew performs
and lectures throughout Northern California and has recorded four CDs. Matthew has published the article "Playing the Extended 7-String Guitar"

Steve Lishman
Steve Lishman is a music educator and professional musician. He earned a
bachelor of arts degree in performance from California State University, Los
Angeles, and a master of arts degree in music education from California
State University, Sacramento. Lishman studied saxophone with Joe Viola and
Frank Chase, and clarinet with Fred Westphal. He also attended Berklee
College of Music and Hartt College of Music. Lishman began teaching music
in 1970, and has taught music from the elementary to college levels. In
addition, Steve has been a performer, private instructor, adjudicator and
clinician. As a performer Steve continues to freelance throughout Northern

Dyne Eifertsen is a performer, educator, clinician, and composer.
He earned a bachelor of music degree in trombone performance from
Berklee College of Music in Boston and a master of music degree
in trombone performance from the University of Massachusetts at
Amherst. Among his trombone teachers have been Phil Wilson, Tom
Plsek, David Sporny and Don Immel. Dyne is freelance musician and
a member of the Sacramento music group KAIROS. Performances

Ballet, Seattle Creative Orchestra, and Tacoma Symphony. Dyne has recently completed his doctorate at

Steve Roach has been the Director of Jazz Studies at California State University, Sacramento since 2001. He has held teaching positions at Baylor University, the University of Northern Colorado, and Northern Illinois University. His duties at CSUS include directing both large Jazz Ensembles as well as the CSUS Latin Jazz Ensemble. He also teaches courses in jazz pedagogy and jazz styles.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in trumpet performance from Indiana University, a Master of Music degree in trumpet performance from Northern Illinois University, and is a candidate for the Doctor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado.
