Jazz Studies

The Jazz Studies program at American River College provides excellent preparation for student transfer to four-year institutions and for a career in jazz. Students enrolled in this innovative program engage in a rigorous curriculum of jazz theory, history, performance groups, improvisation, piano, and individual applied instruction.  See our Music Careers page for more information.
