Tutor for Pay

American River College offers paid tutor positions to ARC students. These students must be enrolled in six units or more and have earned a "B" or better in the courses they plan to tutor. They are paid $7.75 per hour.

If you are an ARC student who would like to be a tutor, but you have not had previous training, you also must enroll in Interdisciplinary Studies 320, Introduction to Tutor Training. You may complete this course while you tutor.
