American River College
loses their 3rd game of the year in a “mud bowl”
at Feather River College, 19-6. The rainy weather in Quincy,
CA hindered the Beavers pass game, limited them to a slow
run game. Jared Gavard (7 completions on 28 attempts, 95
yards, 2 interceptions) connected with David Weld (1 rec. 18
yards) early in the third quarter for the Beavers only
score. The ground attack produced 191 yards on 31 rushes.
Doing the grunt work for ARC were running backs Stefon
Ceaser (11 car. 84 yards), Mike Greer (8 car. 50 yards), and
Andre Miller (13 car. 42 yards). The Beaver defense faced a
Feather River team that primarily ran the ball and it proved
to be tough to defend. American River College forced and
recovered 3 fumbles (Willie Ross, Nikko Wright, and David
Johnson). The Beavers defense was lead Ross, Tim Duran, Zak
Feuerbach, Jadrian Reyes and Ben Chandler. American River
College hopes for nice weather as they play College of the
