ARC 66, Diablo Valley 59	5-14 Overall	1-3 Conference
The Beavers picked up their first Big 7 win of the year by taking control of the Vikings in the second half.  ARC applied the pressure on DVC and turned turnovers into points as the offense showed balance and depth.  Cassie Baxter led all scorers with 20 points, and she also contributed team highs in rebounds (nine) and assists (three).  Melissa Rice hit some big threes en route to a 17-point, three-assist performance.  Lauren Jader added a 14-point and eight-rebound effort in the win.

Santa Rosa 69, ARC 45	4-14 Overall	0-3 Conference
The Beavers’ offense again faltered in the second half, despite a valiant effort from Melissa Rice, who poured in 18 points to lead ARC in the loss to the Bear Cubs.  Cassie Baxter finished with nine points, and Lauren Jader was held to eight.  Lashanna Ingraham again led the Beavers on the boards, pulling down seven rebounds.

Sierra 78, ARC 53	4-13 Overall	0-2 Conference
The Beavers could not keep the potent Wolverine offense in check in the conference game.  Lauren Jader had another big night for ARC, finishing with a team-high 17 points after connecting on 8 of 12 shots from the floor.  Melissa Rice chipped in nine points and Lashanna Ingraham added eight.  Ashley Schmidt had seven points and four rebounds.

Cosumnes River 62, ARC 57 OT	4-12 Overall	0-1 Conference
The Beavers dropped the Big 7 opener after surrendering a heart-breaking three-pointer at the end of regulation and then could not keep pace with the Hawks in the overtime.  Lauren Jader led ARC with 16 points while Melissa Rice added 14 points and three assists.  Cassie Baxter finished with seven points, and Lashanna Ingraham pulled down a team-high five rebounds.

Long Beach 78, ARC 54	4-11 Overall	0-0 Conference
In the final tune-up before conference play, the Beavers got 11 points from both Anne Moungatonga and Melissa Rice and 10 from Cassie Baxter in the loss to the Vikings.  Lashanna Ingraham contributed 9 rebounds to lead ARC, and Ashley Schmidt finished with three assists.

ARC 50, Southwest Los Angeles 26	4-10 Overall	0-0 Conference
The Beavers topped the Cougars in the second round of the tournament in Stockton.  ARC benefited from a balanced offense and a smothering defense en route to the easy win.  Ashley Schmidt led all scorers with 13 points and added three assists.  Nicole Voigt added 12 points and three assists; Cassie Baxter finished with 11 points and nine rebounds while Lauren Jader contributed nine points and 10 boards.

Butte 68, ARC 56	3-10 Overall	0-0 Conference
The Beavers opened the tournament with a tough loss to the Roadrunners.  Cassie Baxter had her bet all-around game of the season, finishing with a team-high 19 points and three assists, and she also had six rebounds.  Lauren Jader chipped in 13 points and six boards.  Stephanie Nelson added eight points, and Nicole Voigt led the team with seven rebounds.

ARC 69, Monterey Peninsula 40	3-9 Overall	0-0 Conference
The Beavers rolled over the Lobos in the non-conference win.  The offense produced its highest total season the season opener, led by 14 points from both Stephanie Nelson and Ashley Schmidt.  Lauren Jader and Kellee Stoehr each added 13 points in the victory.  Schmidt and Kristena Rump each finished with three assists, and Cassie Baxter pulled down 11 rebounds while Jader grabbed another nine.

The Beavers topped the 49ers with four players putting up double figures.  Cassie Baxter led the team with 13 points and nine rebounds, and Stephanie Nelson added another 13 points.  Nicole Voigt and Lauren Jader each poured in 10 points, and Jader led ARC with three assists.

Siskiyous 79, ARC 52	1-9 Overall	0-0 Conference
Lauren Jader put up 16 points to lead the Beavers, but it was not enough in the non-league contest with the Golden Eagles.  Ashley Schmidt finished with nine points and three assists, hitting on three of her six three-point attempts.  Kristena Rump added eight points, and Lashanna Ingraham pulled down seven rebounds.
CYPRESS TOURNAMENT-DECEMBER 1, 2, & 3

El Camino 71, ARC 59 OT	1-8 Overall	0-0 Conference
The Beavers placed three players in double figures and pushed the Warriors into overtime but came up scoreless in the extra period.  Lashanna Ingraham led the offense with 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Stephanie Nelson and Nicole Voigt each contributed 10 points.  Ashley Schmidt had four assists to go along with her eight points.

Palomar 55, ARC 52	1-7 Overall	0-0 Conference
In the second round, the Beavers could not hold on to a lead before falling to the Comets.  Nicole Voigt turned in another outstanding performance with 17 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  She connected on four-of-five three point attempts.  Melissa Rice provided 11 points for the offense, and Lauren Jader finished with seven rebounds and three assists.

ARC 50, West Los Angeles 48	1-6 Overall	0-0 Conference
The Beavers picked up their first win of the season down south in the first round of the Cypress Tournament by virtue of a dominating performance on the boards against the Oilers.  ARC grabbed a total of 62 rebounds en route to the victory, led by Nicole Voigt’s 18, Cassie Baxter’s 10, and Melissa Rice’s 8.  Lauren Jader led the offense with 14 points while Voigt contributed 10 points to finish with an impressive double-double. Rice also added four assists.

Modesto 62, ARC 60	0-6 Overall	0-0 Conference
The Beavers took an early lead, but the Pirates’ outside shooting caught fire in the second half to lead Modesto to the non-conference win.  ARC had opportunities to take the lead up to the final buzzer, but was unable to capitalize.  Ashlee Schmidt went for 16 points to lead the offense, and Melissa Rice turned in another strong performance with 13 points and six rebounds.  Nicole Voigt added seven rebounds to lead the team.

Shasta 62, ARC 51	0-5 Overall	0-0 Conference
Against the Knights, trailed by three at the half and kept the game in reach the final 20 minutes with steady offense and hitting on 12 of 18 free throws.  Lauren Jader’s 15 points led ARC’s balanced scoring attack, followed by Nicole Voigt’s 14 points and Melissa Rice’s 11.  Jader also had seven rebounds for the Beavers.

De Anza 69, ARC 47	0-4 Overall	0-0 Conference
The Beavers’ offense could not get untracked against the Dons, who jumped to an early lead and steadily extended the margin.  De Anza controlled the boards at both ends of the floor, allowing the Dons to control the tempo of the contest.  Melissa Rice was the only ARC player in double figures, finishing with 13 points, but Lashanna Ingraham played strong inside, finishing with 10 rebounds.

Skyline 67, ARC 58	0-3 Overall	0-0 Conference
Playing the Trojans a second consecutive time, the Beavers again made it close but fell short at the end of the contest.  Trailing by only six at the intermission, ARC got the to the free throw line and converted to stay in the game, but field goals were hard to come by.  Melissa Rice and Nicole Voigt each contributed 14 points, but they were the only two double-digit producers.

Against the Trojans, the Beavers trailed by two at the half, but could not keep pace in the final 20 minutes.  Again, ARC showed a balanced scoring attack, this time with three players reaching double digits.  Lauren Jader led the Beavers with 15 points, Nicole Voigt contributed 14 and 10 rebounds, and Melissa Rice finished with 11 points, making 8 of 10 free throws.

The Beavers opened the season with a narrow loss to the Golden Eagles.  ARC placed four players in double figures, but the team was edged out in a close finish.  Stephanie Nelson led the Beavers with 15 points, followed by Melissa Rice with 14, Nicole Voigt had 13, and Alison Hunkins added 10.
