The women’s swim team has a long tradition of excellence
which still holds true today. In 2001 and 2002 the women’s
team finished 4th in the state. In the past 8 season they
have remained in the top 12 for State finishes. In 2004
Coach Black had 5 freshman qualify for the State meet and 4
finish in the final top 8 championship heats. Over the eight
years of Coach Blacks coaching all but three school records
have been set/changed, well over 100 All-American swims,
2002 swimmer of the year, and state swimming coach of the
year.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband,
Eric Black, who is the men’s water polo and swim coach at
ARC, and their three year old daughter. They love to swim,
camp, water ski and hang out together with family and
friends! |
