Crossover Enrollment
Take classes at Sac State (CSUS) with no fees
You are qualified if you are an American River College student who:
- has completed a minimum of 30 semester units with an overall GPA of 2.0
- is a California resident
- plans to be enrolled for a minimum of 12 units between American River
College and Sacramento State during the semester you wish to cross over
- have completed the prerequisites to take the courses at Sacramento State
- have completed, with a "C" or better, a baccalaureate course in written
composition [such as ENGWR 300] in order to enroll in an upper division
course (numbered 100 - 199) at Sacramento State.
How Do I Sign Up?
- Register for the courses you plan to take
at American River College during the semester you wish to crossover.
- Get a copy of your proof of enrollment
for the classes you have registered for.
- Complete the Crossover Enrollment Form.
This form is available in the Transfer Center.
- Turn in the Crossover Enrollment Form and
your proof of enrollment to the Transfer Center.
- The Transfer Center will verify your
residence, unit completion, GPA and unit load, and forward your Crossover
Enrollment Form to the Sacramento State Transfer Advisor.
After approval, you will be sent information
on how to register through CASPER-PLUS (Sacramento State phone registration) during the
late registration period.
Restrictions
- Former Sacramento State students are not eligible to participate.
- Students may participate in Crossover Enrollment for a maximum of 2
semesters.
- Students may take one course per semester at CSUS through Crossover
enrollment.
- Upper division nursing and physical therapy courses are not available
through crossover enrollment.
- Courses offered exclusively through Sacramento State's Regional Continuing Education
classes are not available through crossover enrollment.
- Courses offered during summer and intersession are not available through
Crossover Enrollment.
- Students who possess a baccalaureate degree are not eligible to
participate.
- Students need to check with Financial Aid to see if participating in
Crossover Enrollment will affect their financial aid.
